Picatinny Arsenal — Introduce a Girl to Engineering Open House

The U.S. Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) cordially invites you and a parent to our "Introduce a Girl to Engineering Open House" for high school girls being held in building 93, Picatinny Arsenal on Thursday February 22, 2018 from 5:30 P.M to 7:30 P. M.

Dress: Proper professional attire is the first step to a professional career.

This is an opportunity for a U.S. citizen female high school student to visit the Headquarters of a World Class Research and Development Organization. You will speak with several renowned women engineers working on cutting edge technology and see some of their accomplishments along with the tools they use. You will learn what motivated them to become engineers and discover the rewards of an engineering career.

Picatinny Arsenal is a secure government facility and your parent must RSVP by February 09, 2018 with the following information. If you experience difficulties please contact

Name and relationship of chaperone if not the parent named above: (Chaperones must be a U.S. citizen and 21 years old or older. Additional guests will not be allowed without ARDEC approval.)

All adults will be required to show valid government issued ID (Drivers License) to the guard at the gate.

Please provide an emergency phone number where you can be reached in case of inclement weather, rescheduling, or other problems.

1 ticket per student and chaperone.

Visitors will not be allowed to take photographs anywhere on the Arsenal grounds. Photographers will be on duty. Photos will be available on facebook
